Day 4

We left Boonville Missouri this morning and travelled through the state and into Iowa. Iowa is flat like I've never seen. Pretty, but flat. I loved the striped colors in the fields. Everywhere there was a certain variety of bushy sunflowers.
We have been amazed by the light traffic. Even on the interstate highways through the cities there are very few cars. I took a short video going through Sioux City on the interstate. Here is the video link if you need proof. ;)

The interstate near where I live in Florida is a nightmare of traffic anytime day or night. If the traffic was ever as light as we just saw in Sioux City we would think that something catastrophic had happened that wiped out the population.

We're loving it here in the west. I did a little watercolor sketch of a spot in Cade's Cove in watercolor from a photo.
